Everyone knows the Wall Street Journal - it is a great publication for any company to have media placement. A reporter for the real estate section was writing about real estate in the low country (South Carolina and Georgia). I was able to help him develop a side bar on the colleges "Alumni Design Show House" project. The sidebar included a photograph, statistics on the college and quotes from administration.

Art in America

One of my favorite parts of media relations is hosting a journalist and giving them a tour of a subject sure to interest them.

During the summer of 2007, I traveled with an art critic to Lacoste, France to view a group exhibition hosted by my employer - the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). The goal was to be featured in her magazine and secure a contact for future reviews. The successful tour, completed by my follow up contact, landed SCAD's exhibition a positive, one-page review in Art of America, complete with pictures. The review is posted above.

International Herald Tribune

While working for the Savannah College of Art in Design, I had the opportunity to identify professors at the college who would best speak about certain aspects of design eduction and connect them with an International Herald Tribune. After connecting via conference call, we kept in touch with follow up information and quote confirmation.
